Hepatica blooms on the forest floor
Hepatica – probably sharp-lobed hepatica (Anemone acutiloba) – can be found in a variety of colors, from white to deep blue/lavender. This is a common spring flower in eastern Minnesota and was photographed in early spring at Rice Lake State Park in southeastern Minnesota.
